balance
so here i am at 3 am on the computer. i slept for almost 5 h when i got home at 6 today... O_o must've been real tired. needed to catch up on some sleep.
at work today, i was reflecting on my life in the last couple wks and i think i've started to achieve somewhat of a balance. having said no to a couple of ministries, i've had more time to be at home, spend time with family and not be stressed about things in general. priorities have always been a problem for me - somehow the urgent always takes over the important. but slowly, i'm trying to intentionally put the big rocks in the jar before the pebbles and the sand. in the last couple wks, my parents have complained less about me not being home or putting family as a priority (i think), i've had more time at home to rest and clean and organize which always re-energizes me, continued with reading thru the bible in a yr and gave some frustrations to God in prayer, been able to spend quality time with ed, and seen a good number of friends.
it really does pay to listen to God!!
still have some frustrations with delta and missions at cpc, and still working on priorities and knowing where to invest my time, and taking everything to the lord in prayer. but when i reflect on everything and see the big picture, life is good... cuz God is good.

dream digest
my dad and i went to germany and we were walking around cologne at night. we walked past a black golf (just like hang kit's car) and i happened to look inside.... and song wongs - sleeping. i knocked on the window but got no reaction, so i kept knocking. all wongs did was mumble something, lock the car door, and go back to sleep. but i kept knocking and finally he opened his eyes to see who it was. he saw me and was completely shocked and surprised!! :)
i asked him what he was doing and he said that he was sleeping in his car cuz he didn't live in his apt anymore. something happened and he couldn't stay there. he'd been sleeping in his car, but it was cold cuz he said he didn't have a sleeping bag. all he had was his black jacket. i realized that i hadn't seen him online in a couple wks and that must've been cuz he was living out of his car. i also someone else i knew nearby who was living out of his car too (but i forget who it was), but he had a sleeping bag, so he wasn't as cold.
wongs took us to a brightly lit, white room that had a washroom off to one side where he showered. he also took us to the internet cafe that he frequented regularly cuz he didn't have internet anymore.
the next day, wongs had to go do whatever he did during the day, so i decided to go to school since i was in town. so i headed off to boston college (i even saw the sign - it was blue and yellow) for class. i sat in a room with a whole bunch of students. the lecture hall was similar to the cc auditorium (the smaller room from the first time i ever went to cc) except there were windows all along the front which faced a busy street so we could watch ppl walking by while the prof droned on. i had an interesting day at school... and i forget the rest...

so i was just over at jasmine's blog catching up on all her happenings cuz i just realized she must've started univ this yr.
and she has a whole bunch of pix, so i started lookin' at 'em and had several O_o moments.
first of all was jazzy's comment about how her sis put away all her clothes for her and i'm like - irina's old enough to put away clothes? LOL. and then i saw the pic of her family in her res room and i was like THAT'S irina???? wow... she looks like she's 13 now!!! so grown up!!
and then there was the pic of the praylude bunch at their grad dinner thingy. and i was like - THAT'S esther??!!! :O :O
and the last and biggest shock of the day was when i noticed this guy with a long face near the back and wondered who he was. i've never seen him before, must be new, i thought. and THEN I REALIZED...... IT WAS CALEB. O_o O_o O_o HAHAHAHAHA. i haven't seen him in like 7 yrs and THAT'S WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE NOW!!!! oh my goodness. hahahahahaha. angee, can you believe it??? my, they're all so grown up now!!!
ok, so the only ppl who would probably appreciate this blog are my siblings and angee, anna, steph, anita, maria and maybe lill. but i just had to share my shock. hahahaha. i'm such a loser. :P the only thing i can think of to compare this to is when the sushi ppl see us bad sunday school kids all grown up. or maybe when faith sees us again!!! has anyone seen/heard from faith lately??

woohoo! so i'm back from philly and boston. what a whirlwind trip!! i've only been gone 5 days but it feels like FOREVER. the feeling i had last night was similar to when i had been in europe for 4 wks. lol. maybe it's travelling by myself that makes it feel like i've been gone from my friends for so long.
anyhoo, it was great to see angee, jen and andrew again!! after long hiatuses. :D more on the trip l8r!
